Has your child ever done anything that just had you cracking up? I know that my little guys are a constant source of entertainment for me. We giggle alot in our house. They are constantly doing something silly or funny that makes me smile and be thankful for being their mom. Here is your chance to tell your story about your funny little people. Thanks for sharing!

With all the violence in it and sexual innuendo, it’s not the entertainment I grew up with, watching Wahoo and Andre the Giant. Is it wrong for me to keep my 12 year old daughter from watching it? I adopted her and she used to watch it all the time. I have since discovered that she is emotionally disturbed and is on medication for now. I have since decided to ban all shows that have a lot of violence in them. I think wrestling shows are too graphic and the language is not so good either. What do you say?
She is not disturbed due to watching wrestling, but she does seem to have a craving for movies and wrestling because she says “i like to watch them fight” I think watching violence is a form of escape for her, I’m trying to bring her back to herself.

Car, Station Wagon, or SUV ? I am looking for an inexpensive family vehicle that will entertain kids in the back seat.

Big Will asked:

If the adults would stop talking about it the kids would not know. It is entertainment these are grown men let them do what they want. I love baseball I have never seen needle in baseball. I would hate to see a boring baseball game with no homers or strike outs. The question cant we just leave these entertainers alone? They are adults let them do what they want.

What kind of entertainment can kids look forward to in the near future

Is Kids entertainment becoming too commercialized…or are we to blame for our own stupidity ’cause we’re too lazy to take care of our kids? As if we aint stupid enough as parents, then we set them up to become zombies of shows like Barney, the Teletubbies and Boohbah…

I need ideas. Crafts, cooking, ect. I am not a big outdoor-sy person so I try to keep the kids inside, but to my dismay they get BORED, and usually I wouldnt care but I get paid A LOT and feel guilty having no entertainment ideas. I have a recipet for clay but we’ve done that. HELP!

Monica P asked:

I have a huge entertainment center in family room. It holds kid’s tv (for playstation only) about 2-3 shelves of books, tons (over 300) video tapes, DVD’s (about 100), photo albums and some nick nacks. I’ve been so hesitant to get rid of it because I wouldn’t even begin to know where to store all the stuff in individual pieces of furniture. I’m lousy at decorating and want my home to look nice – how can I get rid of this beast? Ideas for furniture pieces? Thank you.

In general, combined with good parenting and teaching\guidance from the parents, do shows like “Sesame Street” and “Dora the Explorer” really help kids with early concepts? Or are they basically entertainment to young minds?
