i coach a youth football team, and i ask the kids what they want to do in life! the white kids tell me they want to play football and i ask why they say cuz they love to play! when i ask the black kids the same q’s they say they want to play football and when i ask why they say cuz that will help them get off of their block(where they live)!
not one mention of school or just playing cuz they like it!
i want to play football so i can move away from where i live!

Racist european coach is what you are.
Its your duty to teach them not look down on them,what a disgrace you are to all mentors everywhere.
I say to you again,you are not fit to coach kids anywhere in this country with such a prejudiced attitude,you should fire yourself tommorrow,its not a race thing its a status thing most kids who live in the less priviledged areas are less likely to be interested in formal education because they did not have any one around or at home to nurture the potential in them,to think that you dont understand this at your age is a sign that either you are in your coaching position unqualified or you bribed your way in….you are a moral failure to young kids one step away from being David Duke the white supremacist/

THEY DONT ITS JUST SPORT IS EASIER THAN WORK
It is because the African American community lacks any role models that are not either athletes or entertainers, Plus most black kids living in ghetto neighborhoods will get picked on and called sellouts if they try to pursue academic success. It is sad but true, this type of mentality is encouraged and created mainly by rap and hip hop.
Don’t sum up a race of children like that. I have a BLACK Daughter who wants to be president some day. Another who wants to be a teacher and a third who wants to be a photographer. My Black nephews mostly want to go into Business. A lot of kids probably just say that because they heard someone else say that.
Its because of Hollywood.
You see too many movies have taught them that black sports stars only way of getting out of the hood is excelling at their sport rather than education.
I bet if u research how many movies with black kids , regarding this very issue. You will find a large number of movies that have inevitably altered their belief and ways of thinking in terms of getting out of the hood.

After these last 8yrs in America’s economy how can you ask that? Look, whites live of credit and the hopes that the system will continue to work in their favor. But look what happen to this economy! Blacks on the other hand are on the opposite end of the system, no real help to move forward in life just a lot of ways to encourage them to stay put. This is from day one! Aside from that, we are very good at these thing (sports & entertainment). Look if you’re not a CEO or making CEO money than you’re just a credit lover with false hopes. Blacks started out on the bottom & to this day we’re still not treated equally. This system in America is too flawed. Go to college and you might get a good? Get the good job and they might not not fire you and send your spot over seas? Save your money and the company might not take it from you? Who really wants this life other than the people who created it? In this country they know they won’t be treated equal so at a young age they already know money in the hand speaks louder
